Department of Education and Training (NSW) CD-ROM

This CD-ROM is a reasonably complex cross-platform (ie Windows and Mac) project.

The objective of the CD-ROM is to train internal DET personnel in all aspects of the DET's Records Management Process.

Features of the CD-ROM are:

• student history is written to a personalised floppy disk,

• the student is tracked through each of the seven modules and a history is kept of the modules that they have completed, for review by supervisory personnel,

• three of the seven modules contain a quiz, the results of which are also recorded to the floppy diskette for student and supervisory review,

• the diskette is also used to track student progress through the seven modules. This is indicated on the main menu screen with modules that have been completed by a student and a quiz result for the modules that have been completed.

Due to the vast and unspecified array of computers and OS software platforms in the DET, the overall design was simple, with no audio or video content.
